The Rev Charles W Heywood former pastor of the First Methodist church here died at 9 30 a m today at his home 7004 Cedar St in Wauwatosa aged 70 He served 12 years here before transfer to the Wauwatosa Methodist church in 1934 and retired two years ago Born August 24 1877 in Wellington England he came to the United States at 28 and pastored in Sussex Neenah Milwaukee and other communities Funeral services are set for Wednesday at 2 p m at the Wauwatosa Methodist church with burial in Prairie Home cemetery Waukesha He is survived by his wife Annie two children John Heywood and Mrs H J Sceales and three sisters including Mrs Alfred Hoad of Waukesha. The body lies at Schmidt Bartlett Funeral Home Milwaukee and will be in state at the Wauwatosa church from 1 p m Wednesday until services.
