Frustration as Snow Forecast Grows for Wisconsin
Frustration grows as more snow is forecast across Wisconsin with three to six inches predicted today tonight and tomorrow. Waukesha reports a foot already buried under recent storms while the area logged three and a half inches last night and this morning atop earlier totals. Temperatures improved today with a high near 26 above after subzero start. colder air expected to arrive tomorrow as the storm shifts.

Blaze Destroys 1500 Chickens at Ellis Farm
A fire at the Joseph Ellis farm on Pewaukee route 2 destroyed 1509 chickens and a barn, causing about 4000 dollars in damage. Fire started likely from an overheated oil burner, fire crews battled through a snowstorm, traffic was rerouted, and a track plus chicken coops were lost. County Man Is Traffic Victim
Reinhard Kunz 75 of Waukesha was killed when his car hit a Jaeger Sand and Grevel truck beacon on Hr. 15 near 132nd Street. He was en route to a company Christmas party as a retired Ampco Metal vice president. The crash left Kunz with a skull fracture and internal injuries. Tesch, the truck driver, reported he tried to avoid the car but icy pavement prevented a safe stop. Kunz was Milwaukee Department of Safety Engineers chief for 25 years and drove alone. the accident occurred about 1 a.m. Krews of authorities said it marked the year’s 32nd fatality.
