Hartland Youths Sentenced on Barn Fire Probation
Two Hartland youths Norman Marquardt and Ernest Bull admitted arson in a barn fire and were sentenced in municipal court to one to three years at the Green Bay reformatory with sentences stayed. Judge Scott Lowry placed them on probation to the state welfare department after a pre sentence investigation by David Mort. Bull previously received one to three years probation for a haystack fire and faces additional charges for damage to telephone poles. The Barn fire term runs concurrently with Bull's earlier probation.
