Robert I Baird 63 of Waukesha Route 5 a county official and case worker died instantly when struck by a motor vehicle on Highway 18 two miles east of Waukesha He was crossing the road to his home and was pronounced dead at the scene The driver was tested for intoxication and released with no charges filed Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 pm at the Ran nen funeral home with Rev G L Merritt officiating Burial will be Prairie Home cemetery Friends may call after 3 pm tomorrow
