A federal grand jury in Kansas City subpoenas 11 St. Louis witnesses to testify Monday in the Bobby Greenlease ransom disappearance inquiry. Carr Resigns Hospital Post From Waukesha Memorial
Franklin D. Carr the administrator of Waukesha Memorial Hospital resigned to take a similar post at Detroit Memorial Hospital in Detroit Michigan. The resignation was announced by Carr and hospital board president Frederick Schulze in a morning meeting with department heads. The board accepted the resignation Monday night and Carr will leave February 7 1954. Carr led the hospital since January 5 1948 overseeing growth from 85 to 160 beds and expanding capacity with a more than $1 million project opened in October 1952. Schulze said a successor will be named by mid next month with no applicants yet for the $9 000 a year job.

Burglars Sentenced to Waupun Prison Terms
Two Waukesha county men Leander Fick and Frank Thomas pleaded guilty in municipal court to burglary and armed assault related to robberies at Prospect Hill Beer Depot and a later holdup. They received concurrent sentences of one to five years and one to ten years. Fick claimed the gun was not loaded. Thomas has a lengthy prior record.
