Photo comparison shows cars occupying municipal lots before and after the two hour limit ordinance. Out of town shoppers say the rule hinders visits to Waukesha stores, forcing frequent moves or parking outside the business district.
Arthur C. Perry, longtime organizer of the Young Democrats of America and an administrative aide to Senate Democratic Leader Lyndon B. Johnson, was surprisingly invited to join the Capitol Club of Washington, a Republican social group. The Wisconsin forecast calls for partly cloudy skies with snow flurries near Lake Superior tonight and Tuesday, a bit cooler Tuesday, with lows from 18 to 32 and highs of 28 to 41.
Two Mukwonago men Matthew Christian sen and Everett Weber 26 were held on $5 000 bail each after municipal court charges of statutory rape involving a 17 year old girl. Preliminary hearing set for Friday and attorneys requested. Other local cases include probation for beer procurement and drunk driving fines.
Police reported parking violations in downtown lots rose early but declined from last week after two hour limits were enforced. Police Chief Harold Owens said the department is educating motorists and notes progress as violations drop.

A leaking gas refriger ator at David Harris's Apt 17 E Motor Hill Terr was moved to a porch Saturday morning while a malfunctioning motor caused a fan at 123 South East Avenue to smoke Sunday afternoon. Fire crews limited damage to the fan motor and noted the house was recently sold to Mr and Mrs Cecil Tole.
Investigation into a petition seeking the ouster of Mrs. Ann Barber, 69, a Lawnsdale school teacher in Waukesha, begins with state officials visiting the school to hear her side and consult with the state superintendent. The inquiry spans four factors including appearance before the school board and input from parents and pupils.
Five persons sustained injuries in two weekend crashes near Waukesha. Donald Ehrlich 20 and Billy Donselar 24 were seriously hurt in a head on collision on Highway CC. Edward Radosevich 33 his wife Asten 29 and Robert Lovell 34 suffered various injuries in a second crash on Hy West of Hy FF. All were taken to Waukesha Memorial Hospital.
County elementary school board members will convene in annual session Tuesday at 8 p.m. in the Waukesha high school auditorium. Principal speakers include Robert Hull of the state department of public instruction and R S Thienfeldt, supervisor of elementary and secondary schools.
AFL photo-engravers who shut six New York City papers will hold a general membership meeting Wednesday. Denis M. Burke, president of Local 1, says the meeting will review progress of negotiations. The strike reaches its tenth day with about 20 000 workers abstaining and picket lines in place.
City Atty William G Callow, 32, of 605 Buena Vista Ave and 806 N Grand Ave offices, announces bid for re election. He served as assistant city attorney since 1948 with a wartime recall in the Air Force and later legal claims work for the 128th fighter wing.
Washington reports show a surge of telegrams and letters to President Eisenhower in support of Senator McCarthy's demand to halt U S aid to allies trading with Red China. White House figures indicate tens of thousands of messages arriving daily, with a rising rate of 275 per hour and a large undelivered backlog. McCarthy waives popularity stakes, saying he would win 20 to 1 if a contest with Eisenhower occurred.
The Big Three finish talks in Bermuda with a scheduled 4 p.m. Tuesday UN address by President Eisenhower on atomic and hydrogen bomb warfare. Churchill and Laniel miss part of the meeting due to Laniel’s chest illness, while discussions focus on Korea and Far East issues and European defense.
In Dallas a service station was robbed of $200 in cash and checks Sunday. The burglars left a note fastened with patches reading Hey mister your back Goar'e open, a taunting message found at the scene. Police investigated the crude clue as part of the case.
