Weekend crashes injure seven in county report
Seven persons were injured in motor crashes across the county over the weekend, including two from Waukesha county and two elderly women from Ashippun. Westowne Girl Hospitalized After Poison Intent
An 18 year old Westowne girl in fair condition at Waukesha Memorial Hospital after swallowing Inysol in a suicide bid following a domestic argument. She telephoned her girlfriend who called the sheriff's department after the incident yesterday around 5 pm. Deputies learned of the quarrel with a boyfriend. no details of the dispute were released.

Youths Rape Attempt Yields 13 Years at State Reformatory
A would be teenage rapist from the Wisconsin School for Boys, Donald H. Karl, 19, Milwaukee, was sentenced in municipal court to one to three years in Green Bay reformatory. Authorities identified the drowned man pulled from the Fox river as Richard Jones, 51, whose body was found near the north city limits. Coroner Alvin H. K. Johnson said the death is ruled as drowning with unknown timing and a relatives check is underway in Milwaukee.
