Fred Marquardt 78 died at Alice Hall Convalescent Home in Merton after a long illness. He was a lifelong resident, wife and family noted as survivors include two daughters Adolph Christopherson Hartland and Mrs Wendell Kingpar Lom bard, two sons Arthur and Fred, 16th of Hartmond, 15 Evandchldren and one great grandchild, two brothers Henry and Wilting both of Merton. Funeral services 2 p.m. Thursday at Evangelical and Reformed Church in Merton with visitation at Kurte Marshall funeral home after 2 p.m. tomorrow until 10:40 a.m. Thursday and at the church from Stacm Thursday until services. Burial at St Johns Cemetery with Hartland Masonic lodge ritualistic service.

Mrs Helen Kresanek 43 of Waukesha route 3 was granted an uncontested divorce from George Kresanek 44 of Milwaukee by Judge Allen D Young in Waukesha county court yesterday. She said he attacked her May 30 leaving her face discolored after moody quarrels. The couple married in Milwaukee in August 1944, had no children, and briefly remarried after a 1947 Marinette divorce was set aside following reconciliation.
