Unsinkable Boat Sinks. Two Women Hurt in Pewaukee Crash
A new speedboat tipped and sank on Pewaukee Lake near Lakeside, injuring two women. Mrs. June Zinn, 21, and Mrs. Roberta Duckett, 20, were tossed overboard but four other passengers escaped unharmed. Zinn remained under care for leg injuries while Duckett received ankle cuts. The mishap occurred around Aveclock as the craft capsized near the shore.

Trains Crash Near North Robinson Injure 24
A Pennsylvanian passenger train and a freight train collided head on a mile east of North Robinson. Twenty four people were injured including ten soldiers and four porters. no fatalities reported. The passenger train traveled at slow speed and did not overturn. the express car telescoped into the coal tender. Injured were taken to Crestline memorial hospital.

Dr. Frederic J. Woodhead Dies in Waukesha After Illness
Dr. Frederic J. Woodhead prominent Waukesha surgeon and city physician died at Waukesha Memorial hospital after five months illness. Youthful Driver to Lose License After Careless Driving
A 16 year old Pewaukee youth Richard Humphrey was fined 25 dollars and ordered to surrender his license for six months by Judge Scott Lowry after a car wreck on CTH in New Berlin. Humphrey admitted having beer and was said to have been driving about 50 mph when the car failed to negotiate a curve and rolled into a ditch injuring four others. His mother Pearl Humphrey testified he bought the car against her wishes.
