George Scoville, prominent Chicago and Indiana attorney who defended Charles Guiteau, brother of his wife Frances Norton, died at 1254 Layman Avenue. Cleveland School Tragedy Ends in Suicide After Murder

In Ohio’s South Euclid a 25 year old man, Warren Smith, fatally shot Miss Mary Shepard, a 22 year old teacher, in a school building before killing himself two hours later in Warrensville.
