Counsel for Charles W Barrow said Judge Wentworth issued a warrant for Thomas Lawson on a criminal libel charge but Lawson to appear in court next Saturday after an agreement between counsel. State Tuberculosis Sanatorium Plan Receives Drafted Bill

Des Moines November 14 The executive committee of the Iowa state tuberculosis association met to draft a bill creating a state sanitarium for consumption patients. They seek 150 000 appropriation and a facility to house at least 100 patients, with location decided by the board of control. Funding method and patient payments remain unsettled. Mrs Walter Andrews formerly of Waterloo and La Junta Colorado died this afternoon at 2 25 after swallowing concentrated rye at a relative’s East Eighth Street home. She had been in an unconscious state most of the time since Thursday night. She was the daughter of Mrs David Bailey who lives near Elk Run and had lived in the area all her life until seven years ago. Her husband was present at the death.

Wise Believed to Seek Re nomination for State Legislature

Cedar Falls November 1. Special report says Hon C A Wise is likely to run again for the state leg­islature as representative. Wise would be seven years into his term next fall and would have attended four sessions of the general assembly. He has been renominated three times and the biennial elections amendment could grant an extra year. While not yet formally declaring, many friends think he would favor two more years. A recent meeting of prominent Republicans in the city touched the issue.
