The Dart Manufacturing company of Anderson Indiana signed the final contract to move its entire operation to Waterloo. The plant will occupy land on the Humme y farm and later expand to five acres in the Galloway addition. Plans include redirecting Westfield streetcar lines and building 60 by 400 foot first facilities. The move promises 200 initial jobs with 1000 plus within a year, and prompts housing expansion as Waterloo aims to become an automobile hub in the west.
