Old Waterloo Resident Mary Kinnier Dies After Paralysis
Mrs Mary Kinnier an aged Waterloo resident died this morning at 8 oclock at 29 Argyle street from paralysis after a series of strokes. Born Mary Leuin in Ireland about 79 years ago she came to America at 19 and lived first in New York City later moving to Iowa in 1859. She married James Pienkett with whom she had three children two daughters survive Mrs H L Hall of Dubuque and Aim Anna Andrews of San Francisco seven grandchildren surviving. She later wed James Kinnier in 1875 and the couple lived in Waterloo for 26 years with 24 years in the present home. She was a Catholic and funeral services will be Monday at 10 oclock.
