Fred Fischer Killed in Railroad Accident En Route to Waterloo
Fred Fischer formerly with the Illinois Central out of Waterlog was killed in a railroad accident likely last Saturday in San Francisco. His body, in charge of the Eagles lodge, was shipped to Waterloo where his father Edward Fischer and two sisters reside. Other sisters live in Sioux City and Nebraska. The telegram said an inquest was held and the body taken in charge. Fischer previously suffered severe injuries in Los Angeles and sued for damages. the case was settled by the railroad. The father and two Waterloo sisters planned to attend the funeral.
