Jail Delivery Thwarted by Sheriff at Early Morning

Sheriff Caldwell uncovered a failed jail escape by M Johnson Alexander Smith and Andrew Schwendeman in the county jail outer corridor. The trio, aided by Ed Cameron, used improvised keys and a torn radiator to unlock cages and attempted to pry bars and escape through windows before dawn.
