Ezra Kendall Dies Sudden Death of Comedian
Ezra Kendall, a well known comedian who appeared in Waterloo last season and often here, died suddenly of a brain hemorrhage last Sunday at Martinsville sanitarium Indiana. His illness began December 10 during a performance in The Vinegar Merchant in Los Angeles. He was cared for by his wife and two nurses, traveled to his mother's home in Cleveland, then to Martinsville where he appeared improved before breakfast when he was stricken. His body was sent to Cleveland for burial. He recently bought a 410 acre farm near Cleveland and planned to build a home. He is survived by his wife two daughters and four sons. Kendall had been before the public for thirty-five years, gaining note principally through his humorous sketches.

A well dressed woman dropped a handbag which was picked up by the banker. A second woman embraced him and fled with the money later found missing. Kansas City, Jan 25 Three people were killed and three severely injured when a motor car owned and driven by contractor John Mahoney of Kansas City Kansas ran out of control on Cliff drive and Agnes avenue, plunging 40 feet down an embankment into CHI Drive cannon.
