Thomas's Rig Found Near Cedar Falls Livery

The horse and carriage belonging to Wit Gallaugher and a companion were found yesterday afternoon at Fur Mills’s home two and a half miles north of Cedar Falls. The rig, injured but intact, left footprints in the snow and was driven to Mills’s yard, where the horse neighed for entry. Gallaugher reported the find at the Minois Central depot, with reins tied to a whip stock, and the rig was returned to Thomas. No word on the companion’s whereabouts.

Mrs Amelia Popp died last evening at 4550 residence of her daughter Mrs A B Heidt on Akullan avenue after a prolonged illness due to age.
