Healy Loses Brave Fight in Fort Dodge Iowa
Ex Senator Thomas D. Healy died at 5 45 PM after a three week illness from pneumonia. Healy 48 left a wife and three children and had a storied career as a Fort Dodge lawyer and public servant. Born near Lansing he moved to Fort Dodge in 1883 and served as city attorney and on the Chicago Great Western legal staff. He was twice elected state senator for Webster and Calhoun counties and helped spawn the board of control era. He was a leading federal judgeship candidate and later district attorney for the Illinois Central from Fort Dodge west. Funeral set for 9 40 AM Monday at Corpus Christi church.

Death of Fannie Byram Simpson in Minneapolis
Fannie Byram Simpson, born September 23, 1869 in Janesville, died January 11, 1905 in Minneapolis after marrying Frank N. Simpson on May 1, 1895. Survived by husband, three children Howard Hazel and Clarence, her father, two brothers and a sister. She belonged to several churches, and the body was brought to Janesville for services at the MBE church amid flowers from Janesville friends.
