Death of Aged Black Hawk County Farmer in Tennessee
John Tennison, about eighty, a longtime resident of Washington township near Waterloo, died Wednesday night under mysterious circumstances while traveling from Janesville toward Florida for the winter. His body was found on the Louisville & Nashville track south of Nashville, suggesting a fall from a moving train. Evidence includes broken limbs and $18 in his pocket, with no sign of robbery. He left Janesville Sunday and the body arrived back in Janesville for burial. He left a brother and wife, both in Clarksville, surviving him.
