Four Shots Fired Sutton Found Dead in Boston

Boston dispatch reports conflicting testimony in the Sutton case. Corporal Todh of the marine corps describes firing during Sutton’s death and identifies Lt. Adams and Osterman among those present. In Annapolis a court inquiry into Lieut. James N. Sutton Jr. opened with Mrs. Sutton and Rosa Parker recalling letters from Sutton and interviews with Adams. Chicago Aug 10 A jealous husband Phillip Spizzirri and his wife fought a revolver duel in their Lowe Avenue home before two babies. The wife lay dead from gunshot wounds while Spizzirri, shot in the chest and ear, lay in Peoples hospital with likely mortal injuries. Neighbors heard four shots after doors were barred. A torn Italian letter hinted the wife had been receiving attention from Louis Puzzo.
