Frail Woman Finally Dies in Independence
Mary Elizabeth Williamson Dontan, descendant of Penn colonists and wife of W G Donnan, died aged 73 years 16 months and 7 days after a paralytic stroke. A Kentucky native who moved from Elkton to Iowa, she endured Civil War separations, supported her husband’s enlistment, and survived by two brothers T N Williamson and J T Williamson a son Don P Donnan and granddaughter Rena May Donnan.
