In Sinesville Tow a April 24 E L Jennings showed a strange natural freak a double pie with hind parts joined to the navel a single chin and tongue serving both. He preserves it in alcohol. Also noted is a six legged sheep roaming with the herd.

Death at Readlyn Crossing Kills Frederick DLeisberg
Frederick DLeisberg aged father of Mrs Henry Tiedt of Maxfield township was struck by a westbound Great Western passenger train at the Readlyn crossing one mile east of Readlyn. The trainmen saw nothing until Clarksville when the evidence of the tragedy appeared on the pilot. Two hours later farmers found the mutilated remains. The body showed the trunk and skull and portions of the arms and legs scattered nearby.

An 85 year old man died after an accident near a railway track. He was very deaf and it is unclear if he was walking on the track or crossing it. The funeral was conducted on Saturday by Rev. L. Lobeck.

Hog market opened weak to slightly lower with mixed and butchers at 6.35 to 6.67 for heavy and 5.83 to 6.80 for light, and ended mostly down about four to five cents. Estimated tomorrow hog receipts 20,000 with 3,833 left over from yesterday.
