LaPoree City April 2 Special. Oscea Clark and wife Mrs. Morey Clark left for the south on Wednesday. They discuss a pending suit in district court at Watersoa over a separation and property. The husband states no settlement terms are agreeable that exclude Bivarne, and the case may remain unsettled for weeks.

Sunday’s Daily reports that the Warren plat in Spring Creek township was never filed. Surveyed Oct 1, 1855 by George W. Miller, it listed ten lots in two blocks with Main Street, but a $1 recording fee was never paid and the plat was not recorded. McGoy Disappearance Times Unanswered Questions

J William McCoy owner of Mc Goy's Cigar Store in the Commercial building basement has vanished since Monday. Relatives fear an accident as he left after dinner with no warning and no trace since. He is 27, son of J R McCoy of Waterloo Cream Separator Co. Once planned to visit Cedar Falls to arrange table recovers but no proof he went. He was usually regular in habit and had been thriving at the store. No motive or note has surfaced.
