Three men killed in Canadian Pacific wreck west of Brandon
At Kemnay Manitoba near Brandon the regular Coast Limited westbound train took the wrong track four miles west of Brandon on Sunday night and collided with an eastbound freight. Engineer Hiram Hodgson, brakeman Thomas Leech, and fireman W J Pierchly, all Bran don residents, died. Baggageman G W Bird and others were injured lightly while passengers escaped. Several passenger cars derailed and danger came too late for the engineer to stop.
