Volunteers Urged to Complete Guard Company Enrollment
N. C. Altland will be at the Waterlog Commercial club tonight to finish organizing a national guard company. He urges those who signed the enlistment rolls to submit medical papers and complete medical examinations. Forty men who signed at early meetings have not sent in their medical forms and should report to the Commercial club rooms tonight.

Two Men Arrested For Disrupting Liberty Loan Speakers
Two men were removed from the Majestic theatre after interrupting four minute speakers in the liberty loan drive. They were described as intoxicated and caused a disturbance. They were taken to the police station and jailed awaiting hearing.

Spruce production drive calls 112 men for Vancouver unit
By Oct 16 a call will go out for 112 to the spruce production division of the department of aircraft registered two weeks ago. Production at Vancouver Washington seeks 25 local wood choppers and men without physical limits to cut out spruce logs. Black Hawk county quota is one. Waterloo not fully called.
