Removal of Tracks Near Iowa Juvenile Home On Broadway
Toledo Iowa Sept. 25 Tracks of the Tama and Toledo railroad were removed along Broadway from the pavement to the switch to the State Juvenile Home after Toledo council ordered the action August 13. The line opened 31 years ago with the first car July 4 1894. The removal clears Broadway to Tama and the road will be permanently graded and paved between the towns.
