Veterans Meet Tuesday for Memorial Hall Trustees
Delegates from county veterans organizations are called by County Auditor F. W. Esher to meet on Tuesday September 29 at 7 30 p m. to elect five commissioners to oversee Memorial Hall after January 1. The new law funds Memorial Hall and soldiers relief separately and shifts oversight from three G A R trustees to younger veterans from Civil War era groups fading in. Three delegates have been named from Waterloo and Cedar Falls posts. more are expected in coming days.
