Four pilots here take exams for U S licenses
John A Hauptman and Hakon Christensen seek transport licenses. Carl R Martin aims for a Waterloo transport license, and Ernest Lee Nibeck seeks a Waterloo private license. Clark spent days in the field examining ships. A transport license is the highest form, allowing hiring passengers or freight anywhere at any time in licensed planes. A limited commercial pilot may carry passengers for hire within the state. A private license disallows passengers for hire.
