Cedar Heights approves 40000 school bond in close vote
A near 40,000 bond for a new Cedar Heights school carried 10 to 99 amid high turnout. The board plans to start tests on a contract early next spring and finish by Christmas. G Ralston of Waterloo prepared plats for a two story building on five acres. Women largely supported the project and local theatre concerns prompted the mayor to curb screening, leading to a voluntary withdrawal of the film.
