Dairying Show Draws Iowa’s Progressive Interests

Des Moines reports the Dairy Congress at Waterloo next week attracts Iowa’s progressive dairy interests. The Waterloo show, begun 17 years ago, draws national attention with winners often topping national shows. Officials from Iowa state agriculture and Ames dairy departments cooperate, with an estimated 100000 visitors, and a Belgian Horse show and American Poultry congress nearby. Dairying growth rises 40 percent from 1920 to 1925, with creameries declining in number but tripling output from 1894 to 1925.
