Road Connecting Bridges Graded and Widened in Westfield
The road between the new east and west bridges across Black Hawk creek in Westfield is being widened and graded under Street Commissioner W. Winchell. Dirt is being added to ease travel before the bridges are completed, with readiness targeted for the Dairy Cattle Congress opening October 18. The Miller Hey Construction company says the bridges will be usable by visitors traveling to the cattle grounds, as railing and sidewalks near completion on the east bridge.
