A quartered oak pulpit was presented to the Congregational church at Spencer Iowa as a memorial to Mrs. Margaret Trickey, a county pioneer woman who died last fall. The pulpit complements chairs bought after a December fire. The gift coincides with the eighth anniversary of the ordination of Rev Trickey, a native of the county who has served in Nebraska and Iowa.
