Gates Students and Friends Hold Gates Picnic
About one hundred students alumni faculty and friends of Gates Waterloo Business College gathered Wednesday at Gates College campus in Sherwood Park. Games and contests filled the afternoon and evening with an open fire for supper. A medicine ball contest was won by the odds 20 points and the three legged race for boys went to tin odds 20 to 10 Frank.

Odds and Evens Contest In Class Track Meet
Kirkner and Milton Winding faced Edwin Tawner and George Nelson in odd and even events. The girls three legged race went to the evens 30 to 5 with Marguerite Maguire Lillian Janssen Fern Grifith and Lucile Albert on the winning team. The odds team included Wilma Jenks and Miss Moore. The oldsters won the boys relay with 12 points and also took the relay title.
