Mr and Mrs G G Crabtree aged over 70 visited Montana traveling 1200 miles by car from Waterloo via Rock Island and Great Northern to Valier and Walter staying with daughter Mrs A N Starbuck. They praised scenic lakes mountains and glaciers and noted high prices for chalet lodging and crowded tourist hotels in Shelby.
