Fragmented Spotlight humor and society notes

The Spotlight column seems a chaotic mix of jokes, local names, and stray comments. Mentions include Frank V. Johnson, Keith Vawter, Frank Pepperdog selling hot dogs, a cattle show note, Durhant from Horners Circuit attending a convention, and Arthur Evans' lecture. Contains scattered lines about Waterloo, a joke about sugar cost, and odd vignettes on golf, music, attire, and a monkey-carved charm.
