Miner Killed Boarding Westbound Train Near Bridge
A man was killed last night while attempting to board a westbound Rock Island train. His body was crushed between the train and a bridge girder. A miner's union card found on him identified local 1854 of Cainesville Missouri and forty-two years as a United Mine Workers member.
