Eldora Boys School Urged to Reform Focus

In Des Moines on September 2 Judge A Clock urged Eldora’s boys school shift from a penal model to a true training institution. He argued reform requires addressing root causes, education, and proper funding, warning current courts treat it as last resort and calling for state support to create a real apprenticeship program rather than punishment. Other speakers included Dr. Royal F. French and Horace Hollingsworth addressing prevention and juvenile issues.
