Mystery Slaying Of Esther Groth Baffles Police
A 10 year old girl Esther Groth was fatally wounded by a shotgun at her home while her parents were away. Authorities consider two main theories not yet supported by definite evidence: a local suitor or a person with vengeance against the family. The child died after hours of suffering, saying I don’t know when asked who shot her. The gun remained in the bedroom, shells unused, and clues such as a torn window screen offer no decisive lead.
