Weather and farming update from Manchester Ta area
The coming week will see several silo firing machines in operation and an abundance of silage. Rain is badly needed for pastures, seedings, and early planted fields, with some corn damaged on light sandy soils while much of the crop is maturing rapidly. Late planted corn would have benefited from rain, and fall plowing remains hard due to heat and dry ground.
