Waterloo Laundries to Get Part of Camp Dodge Contract

Three Waterloo laundries the Water loo the Model and Siberis will invest about 10000 to install special machinery for the cantonment laundry contract at Camp Dodge. Des Moines laundries join to handle the work with a share for each shop. Government approval pending, but officials expect quick action. If the cantonment suspends, the outlay risks. About 3 cents per man per week, 50000 men could mean 15060 dollars weekly. A separate item reports George Washington captured near Germantown after a porch climbing mishap and gunfire in Philadelphia.
