Two Men Arrested in Family Quarrel
In municipal court Judge George J. Sager set for this afternoon the trial of F L Bell who lives on Onelde street and Orlo R Jones, substitute fireman, on charges of disturbing the public quiet by assaulting Mrs. Hazel Bell of 617 Ankeny street and her friend Mrs. Carl Muller. Detectives Ralph Davis and Warren Buckley arrested them last night after witnesses said Bell and Jones choked and beat the women. Elmer Lines of 627 Barclay street North was said to have attempted to assist the women and was also beaten. Jones said he accompanied Bell because Bell believed his wife was chasing around with others.
