Bank Robbery Foiled Near Westfield by Sioux City Bandits

Five men robbed the Westfield Iowa bank and fled by auto to Sioux City where Capt. J W O Keefe and officers Shannon and Wheelock cornered them at a concrete ridge. The bandits surrendered without resistance after being ordered to drop their weapons. Loot totaling 4500 dollars remained in the bag. Names include Culver Kennedy driver 19 and suspects Harry Smith W Cullen James O Keefe and Lee Barrington. All are held on investigation charges.
