Forecast Leaves Control In Court
Success Magazine predicts a tight 13 district swing in Congress with an official count needed. It cites 16 000 responses from 25 000 Life subscribers, showing 184 seats each for Republicans and Democrats and 29 probably Republican plus 21 probably Democratic, leading to a split in the House.

First reform school for juvenile delinquents origin
The first juvenile reform school was likely started around 1830 near Louvre in Metray France by M. de Tetz funded by wealthy noble patrons. It inspired similar efforts across France and Europe and led to the reformatory union conference shaping later juvenile delinquency work. Linley Sambourne, later a Punch cartoonist, began in engineering works. He once nailed a French draftsman's hat to a desk by prank, only to discover the hat belonged to himself.
