Nelson Andrews 75 son of Edward Andrews longtime Waterlolo butcher died last night at his Grover Iowa home. Family home once at Fifth and Jefferson streets. Funeral services set for Friday at Gruver.

Iowa entrants from Ames and the Iowa State College dairy judging team excelled at the National Dairy Show in Memphis Tennessee. They won first in collegiate judging and topped Guernseys Holsteins and second in Ayrshires with Nebraska and North Dakota in second and third. Individual honors went to Ted Besh and others from the Ames squad with high placements in Ayrshire and Holstein divisions.
A partial report shows 43 new members and 369. Re Liss Short's division led with 23 members and 117.50 dollars. Harry Reed's division ranked third with 15 members and 123.50 dollars. Campaign through the mails yielded 75 renewals. Total reported contributions reached 1,184. Tonight a dinner is planned at 6:30 with final reports due tomorrow night.

An official announcement states France and England will fulfill their promise to withdraw 8,000 occupation troops from the Rhineland by October 25. Soldiers whose enlistment expires will not be replaced until the occupation force is reduced to zero.
