Waterloo Men In Railway Work Do Not Talk Strike
Local railroad officials and workers in Waterloo say they know nothing of a nationwide railway strike beyond what newspapers publish. If a strike occurs, about 2,006 Waterloo workers could lose their jobs and payrolls exceeding a quarter of a million dollars monthly would be halted. Illinois Central Shopmen number about 1,200, with other workers tribal to the company. other lines also employ locals, but no one will commit to a strike timing.

Prettier Teeth Next Week
An advertisement promotes Pepsodent toothpaste as a modern method to remove a dull film on teeth, improve cleanliness, and reduce decay. It claims dentists endorse daily use, cites millions of users, and highlights benefits like increased saliva flow and pepsin addition for digestion.
Pepsodent Promoted as Superior Tooth Cleaner Worldwide
National dental authorities endorse Pepsodent as five distinct benefits from every application. It is rapidly replacing traditional tooth cleaning methods in many countries. Careful individuals should adopt it now, as old methods yield widespread tooth troubles and discoloration. A change is urged today.
Pepsodent Advised for Children From First Tooth
Women notice brighter teeth in film coatings but the ad emphasizes Pepsodent as crucial for children. Dentists urge starting Pepsodent use as soon as the first tooth appears to combat film and starch attacks on developing teeth.
