Homecoming at State Teachers College weekend events
Cedar Falls reports a Homecoming on Saturday with parades and a football game against Buena Vista College at Storm Lake. Alumni arrival and campus festivities begin Friday night with a dance, and receptions are planned by various societies as Comrade Brinkley Pierce observes his eighty eighth birthday. Local veterans and families attend social gatherings. Pheasant hunting opening day yields mixed success across counties with visitors from nearby regions.
