Y Drive Membership Drive Delayed After Pheasant Call
The Y M C A fall membership roundup extended to Tuesday as the pheasant lure drew many prospects and campaigners. Final report dinner left 123 members short of 750, with 189 new members and renewals yesterday and total senior membership at 627. Maj Cecil Lanning’s division MM led with 62 new members, while Capt T G Thompson and Capt J E Wheeler led their crews with 19 and 17 respectively. Other divisions reported 50 to 51 members in Division Y and 26 in Division AA among others. 26 additional membership ships were added in the boys’ division.
