Y M C A Campaign Kickoff Draws Large Turnout in Gym
An overcast meeting of 100 plus workers opened this morning for the Y M C A membership drive. Campaign manager G D Allan led talks urging life memberships, with targets of 777 for the central branch and 300 for the railroad division. Speakers emphasized Americanization, world brotherhood, and boys’ programs, with special provisions for poor boys and new swim instruction.
