Narrowing Scope in Hugging Murder Probe
Nine witnesses questioned after last Saturday night shooting of Richard W. Hugging on Conger street. Police, Sheriff, County Attorney, and Coroner say the investigation is narrowing with a goal to gather evidence for a possible premeditated murder charge, likely tied to jealousy. A nearby theory suggests an offended husband or a jealous suitor shadowed Hugging, with a note from a woman seen as a warning.
