Builders of dairy boosters John Andrews and associates promote the dairy convention and cattle show to Waterloo residents. Cattle arrivals begin with two carloads from Nelson of Favrly and fourteen more from the Springfield state fair. Special Waterloo day Tuesday aims to boost attendance and finances.
Mrs. Laura D Garst will speak at Central Church of Christ in Waterloo Des Moines guest speaker delivers afternoon address to church members and friends. Sunday school invites about one hundred for a large turnout with a school photo after class Rev L P Kopp preaches morning and evening sermons focused on Men and Religion Forward Movement. Conservatory Artists Course promises high class concerts with each event billed as a great musical treat.
Watering friends of Miss Alice Beatle will be interested to hear that she is again to the matron of the homeopathic hospital of Iowa State University, Iowa City. Miss Beatle resigned five years ago to engage in her profession in Cleveland, Ohio, and later in Chicago. Since that time she has also enjoyed a trip abroad. During last summer, she visited her sister, Mrs. Franke Shoemaker, and renewed acquaintance with her friends here.
